Alireza Mohammadzadeh is a Ph.D. candidate in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh working in Little Lab on the translation of drug delivery systems to agriculture. He is the lead inventor of AgriNUE, a lipid-based fertilizer delivery system that enhances nutrient use efficiency and reduces nitrogen pollution. His work has earned recognition as a Collegiate Inventors Competition finalist, best poster award at a Gordon Conference, and NSF funding to advance AgriNUE’s commercialization.
