Dr. Mengyang (Marvin) Liu, PhD, is a Research Fellow in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Auckland. He specialises in advanced drug delivery systems, including nanocarriers, microneedles, hydrogels, and lipid-based formulations for oral and transdermal delivery of peptides and proteins. His research also focuses on preformulation, skin sciences, oral applications, and immunomodulatory delivery. Dr. Liu has authored over 20 publications and actively contributes to the field through international presentations and peer review. He was awarded Best Student Oral Presenter at the 2019 Australian Controlled Release Society Meeting and won a presentation award at the 2021 Controlled Release Society Annual Meeting.
