Matthew Kwan is a Materials Science and Engineering PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research characterizes the physical effects of nano- and microparticle systems on immune cells for applications in adoptive cell therapies. My research interests are in the field of immunoengineering, biomaterials, and broadly how we can harness our own cells to fight off different diseases to improve patient quality of life.
