Saurabh Bhorkade is a Ph.D. student in Pharmaceutics at the University of Connecticut, under the mentorship of Dr. Diane Burgess. His research involves the formulation development and understanding of complex long-acting injectable. He earned his Master of Science in Pharmaceutics from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, India and bachelor’s in pharmacy from Pune, India. Prior to his Ph.D. studies, Saurabh has gained industry experience as a formulation scientist in the injectables department at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd, Hyderabad, India.
