Xiaolong Zhan is a PhD student at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Helsinki. He carries out research of polymeric microspheres-based drug delivery, microfluidics and biomaterials. He earned a M.Sc. (Pharm.) at South China University of Technology and his master thesis is based on bioactive metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) nanoparticles for wound healing.
