Dr. Flávia Sousa is a leading researcher in biological nanotherapies for brain cancer. With a background in pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Porto, she pursued postdoctoral studies at Imperial College London and the IIT as a Marie Curie MINDED Fellow. Now an assistant professor at the University of Groningen, she develops nanovaccines and anti-angiogenic therapies for glioblastoma. Her work has earned prestigious grants, including Fulbright and Marie Curie.
